Ranveer Singh will play legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and Deepika will portray Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia in the film.Recently, Deepika took to Instagram to share a story where Ranveer is seen practicing for the film in Glasgow, Scotland. Deepika captioned the story saying, “Being the supportive wife on and off the field #83the film.” 83 is Deepika’s first film with Ranveer after their wedding. The couple has earlier worked together in films like Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.For a long time, speculation was rife that Deepika will play the role of Romi Bhatia in 83. The Padmaavat actress confirmed the same in an earlier interview with The Times Of India. She said, “The personal equation doesn’t spill over into the workspace.
