If something has pursued Girona in its recent history, it is bad fortune in the promotion playoffs. But the experience is a grade and the whole rojiblanco would grab it if at the end of the season it disputes the promotion to Primera. Pep Lluís Martí is trying to give his players a competitive style and it is laying the foundations of a group that offers a reliable version in complicated moments. And in the last days he is making it and it bears fruit because Girona has settled in the playoff positions. Arriving with good feelings to the last part of the course is crucial and, for now, at the qualifying level, the red and white fans are happy. And, moreover, given that experience is important, looking up on the table day after day is also important and the Gerundeans already add ten (28 have been disputed) among the top six classified. Until day 16 they only stepped on these positions twice (they were sixth), but now they have found regularity and good results and, in the last 12, only in four have they been lower than sixth place. Now, Girona is fifth and in the ranking of the experience among the first six this course only five teams surpass him: Cádiz (28), Almería (28), Zaragoza (27), Huesca (27) and Fuenlabrada (25).
