POLICE LOG for August 25 Police Respond Twice To Customers Behaving Badly

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, August 25, 2019:A caller reported a tree fell onto power lines on Concord Street. Wires are down in her driveway and her house has no power. RMLD and Fire Department responded. (1:56am)Police noted illegal dumping at the West Intermediate School. Someone dumped brush and a birdbath on the school’s loading dock and dumpster. (9:03am)Wilmington and Tewksbury Police on scene of an erratic driver who was pulled over on Nichols Street. Driver admitted to texting her friends, which caused her to “drive all over the road.” She possibly struck a tree or mailbox in area of Salem Street. Police explained the criminal possibilities from her actions for leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation. She was cited for marked lanes violation and texting. (10:39am)A caller reported a male party threatened her and her child in aisle 3 at Market Basket. Male party left prior to police arrival. Police were unable to locate male, who was with a female party with long blonde hair with a clip. Male had arm tattoos and was wearing a sweatshirt and shorts. (12:37pm)A caller reported a female party threw water all over her, any customer, and an employee at Market Basket. Action will result in a no trespass order. Female party left prior to police arrival. Police will follow up with manager. (2:01pm)A female caller reported her husband was bitten by a leashed dog on Boutwell Street while running. All of the dog’s vaccinations were up to date. Husband elected to take himself to Lahey to seek medical attention.
